Research Projects

the DOW Facility is regularly involved in scientific research missions throughout the United States and the world. These projects have studied orographic precipitation processes, convective precipitation, wintertime clouds and snowfall, cloud seeding, wildfires, landfalling hurricanes as well as investigations into tornadogenesis. A list of the projects we have participated in thus far is available below.
